Seussical is a story of believing. It’s about believing in yourself even when nobody else does; it’s about believing in others; and it’s about believing in a world where even the mundane can be magnificent.

​

Theodor Seuss Geisel (or more commonly known by his pen name, Dr Seuss) wrote more than 60 books that introduced us to characters and places of incredible imagination, wit, and heart. His creations have been an intrinsic part of many of our childhoods and even carries into our adult lives. Though he is referred to as a children’s author and illustrator his characters and their stories still can resonate with adults who, like children, sometimes need reminders of the valuable discoveries and beliefs his stories share.

In this musical Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty have brought many of Dr. Seuss’ most beloved books together into one heartfelt story with lively music and bursting with colorful characters. 

I have had the joy of bringing their ideas to life in collaboration with these two distinctly talented casts and a team of remarkably creative thinkers and designers. A person’s a person no matter how small, and there have certainly been no small parts in bringing this production together. I am so excited for you to see these talented kids and for you to join us in the world of Seussical.
