Join us for our 5th-7th grade training and performance classes. Our intensive classes are designed for the actor looking to progress their overall technique and training. All Backstage classes are taught by professionals in the business. We can't wait to see you gain new friendships, progress your talents, and perform your best!

Musical Theatre

Musical Theatre (Full Program), is designed for performers who are looking to excel in their musical theatre experiences by training, developing, and strengthening their talents in the following subjects: music, acting, broadway dance & tap. Performers will not only get to take musical theatre classes, but they will also participate in the main stage production The Little mermaid jr. & Spring Recital

Auditions for The Little Mermaid Jr. will be held in January 2024
All those who register will be cast in the production
Students will not be called to every rehearsal
Dress Rehearsals and Performances will be held at our Centerville Location

For students to get the most out of their classes, we have provided a dress code. It is found at the bottom of this page. Students will need jazz shoes (skin colored) and tap shoes for this course. There is also a partial program offered on registration.

private voice lessons

​Private Voice Lessons are designed for the individual looking to improve their vocal range, confidence, repertoire, technique, and experience level. Each performer works with one of our trained professionals to achieve goals and excel quickly. Our private voice instructors are dedicated to giving you a solid foundation to build consistency and confidence in your singing voice. Students will perform at the end of each semester in a voice recital. Private voice runs all 9 months of the school year. Lessons are held once a week for 30 minutes.

GROUP VOICe

In our group voice lessons, students will experience the joy of singing together while honing their vocal skills. Through a supportive and collaborative environment, participants will learn proper vocal techniques, breath control, and vocal exercises to improve their range, tone, and projection. With personalized attention from our experienced instructor, students will gain confidence and develop their unique singing style as they explore various musical genres in a fun and dynamic group setting.
Students will participate in a recital at the end of the semester. Tickets will be sold for performances.

INTRO TO SEWING
MONDAY 4:00-4:45pm

In this course, students will be introduced to machine sewing. In our "Intro to Sewing" class, beginners will discover the art and practicality of sewing. From threading a needle to operating a sewing machine, students will learn essential techniques and skills to create their own unique projects. With hands-on instruction and guidance, participants will gain confidence in measuring, cutting, and stitching fabric, and explore various sewing techniques to bring their creative ideas to life. Potential projects include pajama pants, pillowcases, and skirts.
There will be no materials fee for this class, students will be required to purchase their own choice of fun fabric for each project.
AERIAL SILKS

Embark on a captivating journey into the art of suspended acrobatics with our Aerial Silks class. Learn to dance, climb, and pose on silken fabrics hanging from the ceiling. Our program is suitable for all levels, whether you are just starting or have been taking for several years, this transformative class builds strength, flexibility, and coordination. With experienced instructors guiding you, you'll progress from fundamental techniques to breathtaking moves and sequences, fostering creativity and self-expression. Join us to defy gravity, cultivate grace, and experience the exhilaration of Aerial Silks.

PIANO LESSONS

Be introduced to the piano in this private instruction course. These lessons are perfect for someone who has never touched a piano before, or for the experienced student wanting to push through to the next level. Students will learn keys, music theory, improvisation, and technique.
Lessons will be held for 30 minutes. Make-ups are offered for lessons missed throughout the semester but must be completed before each semester is over. In addition to tuition fee, students will be required to purchase specific piano books, for their level. There will be a small performance at the end of each semester. WHAT TO WEAR

Students are expected to wear dance clothes to movement classes and rehearsals.
Girls should wear a leotard (black), black or grey shirt no logos, ballet skirt (black or pink) or dance shorts(black), or black leggings.
Boys should wear a black shirt and black shorts or pants.
Hair should be pulled back away from the face, no jewelry.
