STAGE TIME
Welcome to Stage Time, an exciting and interactive summer musical theatre class designed especially for our youngest performers, aged 3 to 5! At Stage Time, we believe that even the tiniest stars can shine bright on the stage. Through a combination of art, dance, music, and storytelling, we'll embark on a magical journey that introduces your child to the wonderful world of musical theatre with a different theme each week. During our action-packed class, your child will have the opportunity to explore their imagination, build self-confidence, and develop a love for the performing arts in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

MINI MUSICAL
Journey of the Noble Gnarble: A New Children's Musical
is a story of a little gnarble with a big dream, who tries to make it past doubting blyfish, sneaky subbalubbles, and hungry plinks on his way to the surface of the sea. Along the way he befriends the glinny glims who teach him the importance of positivity and determination! Our Mini Musical experience promises a toe-tapping, laughter-filled journey for our budding stars! We suggest pairing this show with Seussical Jr. "Who Participation" to get the most out of your summer! See the audition page for more info.

Ignite your performer’s passion for the stage with our week-long Summer Musical Theatre Camp! These camps blend dancing, singing, and acting training into an unforgettable experience, fostering confidence and expanding theater techniques. BROADWAY DANCE CLASS
This class offers an exhilarating experience for musical theatre performers to hone their skills in a supportive and dynamic environment. Led by experienced instructors, students will explore various dance styles such as jazz, tap, ballet, & musical theatre. Through engaging classes and fun-filled activities, participants will build confidence, coordination, and technique in their skills, creating unforgettable memories!
SEWING & COSTUME DESIGN
Dive into the world of textiles and imagination with our Sewing and Costume Design Summer Camp! This hands-on experience introduces students to the basics of sewing, fabric fundamentals, and the delightful art of what it takes to be a costume designer. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, participants will embark on a creative journey, exploring the foundations of sewing and design. Join us for a week filled with the joy of discovery, as beginners weave their first stitches and unveil the magic of costume design!
4TH OF JULY
Get ready to celebrate the 4th of July like never before at our exciting Parade and Performance Experience! This unique summer opportunity offers young participants a thrilling chance to be part of the festivities, showcasing their talent and patriotism in parades and performing on a grand stage for the City of Centerville. Any student who signs up for this experience will come on specific times and days to learn two numbers plus a Seussical Jr. number if they are in that show. The rehearsal time is minimal and will be emailed out as we get closer. This is a very affordable performance opportunity that we want to invite all Backstage students to participate in! Students will also have the option to participate in the Centerville Parade if they are 10 and older.
AERIAL SILKS
Welcome to the exhilarating world of Aerial Silks! Our Aerial Silks Camp offers a one-of-a-kind summer experience for participants, combining the excitement of circus arts with the artistry of dance, gymnastics, and the thrill of defying gravity. Get ready to soar, twist, and spin on our stunning aerial silks apparatus! Participants will have the opportunity to learn and master captivating moves and poses on the silks while developing core strength, body awareness, and self-confidence.

WEEKLY PRIVATE LESSONS
This summer we are offering private voice, piano, & dance. Unlock the boundless potential within yourself by enrolling in weekly lessons. These enriching activities not only foster creativity but also cultivate discipline, patience, and self-confidence. Voice and piano lessons offer a gateway to the world of music, nurturing a lifelong appreciation for melody and rhythm while honing cognitive skills and enhancing memory. On the other hand, dance lessons provide a thrilling blend of artistry and athleticism, promoting strength, flexibility, and grace. Whether you're a novice or have been performing for years, our expert instructors will lead you through dynamic routines and techniques. Through these engaging experiences, you will not only discover your talents but also develop essential life skills that will serve you well in future endeavors.
SEUSSICAL JR.
An enchanting journey into the magical world of Dr. Seuss! Aspiring actors will have the opportunity to bring beloved characters to life, from Horton the Elephant to The Cat in the Hat. Under the guidance of experienced directors and choreographers, performers will sharpen their theatrical skills while forming lasting friendships with fellow cast members. With thrilling adventures, captivating music, and timeless storytelling, "Suessical Jr" at Backstage offers a transformative experience that will ignite imaginations and leave audiences of all ages spellbound. Auditions will be held at the end of May and rehearsals begin June. Choose between 2 different sessions and pick which one works best for all your summer plans.
