Backstage Performing Arts is proud to present Backstage Aspire Company 2022-2023, 5th-7th Graders. This group of performers is proud, confident and ready to embrace a new year of discoveries as performers. These performers are ready to conquer their fears and be braver than ever before. Aspire will be pushed to the next level as they gain training and experience in the entertainment industry.
SUMMER OF A LIFETIME
Summer 2022
Backstage Performing Companies participated in several 4th of July Celebrations! Performing for over 3,000 members of the community. Performing companies also participated in the parade on the 4th of July, students got to walk or sing on the trailer.
CUSTOM HALLOWEEN SHOW
Halloween 2022
Back by popular demand! Backstage Performing Companies and Ascend Team proudly presented an all-original Halloween musical thriller titled MIRROR, written by Kenzie Dawn. This upbeat rock-style musical tells the story of Maia and her friends as they are pulled into the mirror dimension. Act I of this show was presented last year in 2021, now more to the story awaits...
WINTER COMMUNITY OUTREACH
December 2022
Performers were given the opportunity to perform for several Christmas events. Including family events, community events and charity events. Performing in several types of venues Backstage Elite Company is always on their toes ready to adapt their performances for any performance enviornment.
TRAVEL OPPORTUNITY (Disneyland)
February 2023
All performing companies traveled to Aniheim, California to perform on Disney's California Adventure Performing Arts Stage. The students got to spend 3 days in the park together. Each year the travel opportunity is different.
FRIENDSHIP
Aspire company is a group of people who share a love of the performing arts. In this group, students are surrounded by like-minded individuals who are just as passionate about singing, dancing, and acting as they are. This shared passion can create an instant bond between people and form the foundation for lifelong friendships.
SUMMER MUSICAL (MOANA JR.)
Company members participated in MOANA JR. this past summer! This project also included kids their age at the studio 5th-7th grade.
FALL MUSICAL (JAMES & THE GIANT PEACH JR.)
Company members participated in JAMES & THE GIANT PEACH JR. this past school year! This project also included other kids their age at the studio 5th-7th grade.
SPRING MUSICAL (HONK JR.)
Company members participate in 3 musicals a year. Their final musical of the year is HONK JR. which will perform April 2023.
INDIVIDUAL VOCAL COACHING
Aspire Company members take regular voice lessons weekly with professional coaches, students work on audition material, solos for all review shows, musicals, outreach performances and recitals. Members perform in 3 vocal recitals a year where they perform solos.
DANCE & ACTING TRAINING

Aspire Company members take regular training classes in jazz, acting, tap & music. These subjects prepare them to be the most well-rounded performers they can be and helps them to develop the skills needed for auditioning for future opportunities in upcoming performances.
INSTRUCTORS
Coached by professionals in both musical theatre and entertainment, these students are given every opportunity to be pushed to the next level. Our team of instructors are ready to provide the best experience possible for all performing companies. Company members will work with a variety of coaches in all subjects and styles of performance.
