Welcome to Backstage's musical theatre program, where we pride ourselves on delivering unparalleled training and theatre education. Our focus goes beyond putting on shows; it's about developing stronger, more dynamic performers on stage. We achieve this through top-tier instruction from teachers who are both seasoned performers and active professionals in the industry. To ensure every student thrives, we regularly split classes as necessary to tailor to different skill levels, giving you the best opportunity to master new techniques and skills. MUSICAL THEATRE (1st-3rd)
Our musical theatre program for 1st-3rd graders not only allows them to participate in two musicals a year but they also get to take training classes in music & acting.
Auditions for roles are held beginning of the school year and mid year. Shows this year are Wizard of Oz: Youth Edition & Cinderella...if the shoe fits!
MUSICAL THEATRE (4th-6th)
Our musical theatre program for 4th-6th graders not only allows them to participate in two musicals a year but they also get to take training classes in musical theatre dance, tap, music & acting. Auditions for roles are held beginning of the school year and mid year. Shows this year are Wizard of Oz: Youth Edition & Alice in Wonderland Jr.
MUSICAL THEATRE (7th-9th)
Our musical theatre program for 4th-6th graders not only allows them to participate in two musicals a year but they also get to take training classes in musical theatre dance, tap, music & acting. Auditions for roles are held beginning of the school year and mid year. Shows this year are Something Rotten Jr. & The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical TYA.
MUSICAL THEATRE (10th-12th)
Our musical theatre program for 10th-12th graders not only allows them to participate in two musicals a year but they also get to take training classes in musical theatre dance & acting. Auditions for roles are held beginning of the school year and mid year. Shows this year are Bright Star: School Edition & The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical TYA.
