GENERAL AUDITION INFORMATION

A NOTE ABOUT CASTING

Auditions are open to actors within the age range listed next to the show.  Every role is open. Every person is welcome. We're looking for dedicated actors of all abilities, races, ethnicities, shapes, sizes & backgrounds. Our goal is an encouraging process that opens the doors to a meaningful rehearsal & performance experience.  We are hoping to double-cast all roles.  All students need to register for their choice of program to be cast in the production.

FOR IN-PERSON AUDITIONS​

• WEAR: Professional clothing

• WHERE: West Bountiful Location (724 W 500 S #900, West Bountiful, Utah, 84087)

• BRING: 30-60 sec karaoke track on a device (we will provide a speaker with a USBC cord)

VIDEO AUDITIONS​

• WEAR: Wear professional clothing

• INCLUDE: Slate (Name & Song), 30-60 seconds of you singing with a karaoke track

• SUBMIT: To the stage manager of the production for which you are auditioning

TO DO BEFORE AUDITIONS

1. Register for the pathway program of your choice

2. Fill out the Audition Form, attach a headshot/resume, & conflicts (emailed from the stage manager)

3. Be prepared to sing & bring a 30-60 second karaoke music cut

4. Bring a device: we have Bluetooth, USB-C cord, aux cord; no accompanist will be provided). Choose a song that best fits you, and choose material in the style of the show. Singing songs from the show is allowed.

CONFLICTS

Please be upfront with your conflicts, no conflicts will be accepted after final callbacks.  Conflicts include any day or time that you will be unable to attend regular rehearsals, it is expected that students will attend rehearsals for which they have no conflict marked.  Having no conflicts is preferred but we will always do our best to accommodate conflicts that are communicated upfront.

CALLBACKS - BY INVITATION ONLY

• WHEN: Specific calltimes will be emailed out by invitation only from the stage manager

• WEAR: Comfortable clothing you can move in

• WHERE: West Bountiful Location (724 W 500 S #900, West Bountiful, Utah, 84087)

• BRING: We will email out sides you can choose to print or have on your personal device

REHEARSALS & PERFORMANCES

For all shows we put together a projected rehearsal calendar that is included for perusal before auditions this will give you a chance to see when all rehearsals and performances will be held.  These can be viewed by contacting the stage manager. For basic dates see below​​​​​​​​
