Summer 2022

Backstage Elite Company and performing companies participated in several 4th of July Celebrations! Performing for over 3,000 members of the community.  Performing companies also participated in the parade on the 4th of July, students got to walk or sing on the trailer.  

Halloween 2022

Back by popular demand! Backstage Performing Companies and Ascend Team proudly presented an all-original Halloween musical thriller titled MIRROR written by Kenzie Dawn.  This upbeat rock-style musical tells the story of Maia and her friends as they are pulled into the mirror dimension. Act I of this show was presented last year in 2021, now more to the story awaits...

December 2022

Performers were given the opportunity to perform for several Christmas events.  Including family events, community events and charity events.  Performing in several types of venues Backstage Elite Company is always on their toes ready to adapt their performances for any performance enviornment.

February 2023

All performing companies traveled to Aniheim, California to perform on Disney's California Adventure Performing Arts Stage.  The students got to spend 3 days in the park together.  Each year the travel opportunity is different.

"The long-lasting friendships I have made being a member of this company have gotten me through so many difficult times.  I auditioned for this group not really knowing anyone and by the first rehearsal I felt like I had a new family of people supporting me and pushing me to be my best self.  Everyone works so hard and I feel so blessed to work with these girls, I may have never been given this opportunity any other way, since so many of us go to different schools.  I can't even put into words how much I love this company of girls and its incredible coaches."

August 2022

Each year the company performs in a professional music video. Partnered with THE ALTITUDE, Elite Company is featured on Backstage's Youtube Channel in a yearly music video. This year's video is a cover of Devon Cole's W.I.T.C.H.

In partnership with The Altitude in Bountiful - media marketing company.  All members participate in regular photoshoots, videography projects, audio recordings, script writing, and promotional material. 

Company members are given opportunities to represent Backstage on the website, social media platforms, community events, and public advertising.

Company members participated in The Little Mermaid Jr. this past summer! This project also included all teens their age at the studio 8th-12th grade.

Company members participated in Newsies Jr. this past school year! This project also included all teens their age at the studio 8th-12th grade.

Company members participate in 3 musicals a year. Their final musical of the year is CURTAINS: SCHOOL EDITION, which will perform May 2023.

Elite Company members take regular voice lessons weekly with professional coaches,  students work on audition material, solos for all review shows, musicals, outreach performances, music video vocals and recitals.  Members perform in 3 vocal recitals where they perform solos. 

Elite Company members take regular training classes in ballet, jazz, acting, & tap.  These subjects prepare them to be the most well-rounded performers they can be and helps them to develop the skills needed for auditioning for future opportunities in the professional world and collegiately. 

Coached by professionals in both musical theatre and entertainment, these students are given every opportunity to be pushed to the next level.  Our team of instructors are ready to provide the best experience possible for all performing companies.  Company members will work with a variety of coaches in all subjects and styles of performance.
